Cinderella’s childhood was filled with happiness and love until her widowed father remarried.  When her father met an untimely death, her stepmother’s true cold and cruel nature was revealed. She followed the interests of Cinderella’s vain and selfish stepsisters, while at the same time, humiliating and forcing Cinderella to become a servant in her own house. Through all of the heartache, Cinderella remained true of heart, gentle and kind, sure that her dreams of happiness would someday come true. Even while being forced to scrub the floors yet another time, Cinderella could see past the rags she was forced to wear and envision her own beauty and the possibility of fulfilling her dreams within. *
