"The Little Mermaid - Ariel Strikes a Bargain"

Ariel is a little mermaid with an adventurous heart. She longs to learn about and be a part of the human world.  After saving Prince Eric from a shipwreck, she falls in love and yearns for some way to fulfill her heart’s desire. Ariel’s father, King Triton, forbids her from any contact with Eric or the human world, and in frustration, she turns to Ursula, the evil and powerful Sea Witch.  Ursula agrees to make a potion that will turn Ariel into a human for three days, and in that time, she must get the Prince to fall in love with her and give her the kiss of true love. If she can’t, her soul belongs to Ursula for all eternity.  Ursula’s price for the potion is Ariel’s voice.  In this scene, Ariel has traded her voice to the Sea Witch for human legs.  She is both curious and excited about her wiggly new toes, but finds herself struggling to explain all of this, without the use of her voice, to her seagull friend, Scuttle. *
